The Bureau of Land Management is repaving sections of Rock Creek Road and East Fork Rock Creek Road, from mile post 3 to 18.

A BLM release said while the Lone Pine Group Campground will remain open, drivers should expect short delays, heavy equipment, and dump trucks on Rock Creek Road during the construction.

Swiftwater Field Manager Mike Korn said, “There are culvert crossings that need to be patched as well as several sections of the road that must be repaired”. Korn said, “Public safety is our top priority, and these improvements will make roadways safer and easier to use”.

The release said this will be a rolling construction site operation, with work conducted Mondays through Thursdays. Signs will be posted, and flaggers will be present.
