Roseburg Police jailed a man for a probation violation early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 2:00 a.m., the 52-year-old was contacted at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. He was with a female he was not allowed to have contact with. The man’s probation officer authorized a detainer and the man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail.
