Roseburg tied the record high for the date on Friday.

Data from the National Weather Service in Medford said the mercury reached 101 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. That tied the record for August 22nd, which was set in 1934.

Roseburg could tie the record high for the date, again on Saturday. That is 99 degrees, set in 1934. The forecast is calling for a high of 98 degrees.
