HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT AT 8:00 P.M.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect through 8:00 p.m. Sunday for central Douglas County and its eastern foothills.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said hot conditions with high temperatures of 95 to 104 degrees are expected. Overnight low temperatures will range from 55 to 65 degrees.

The Advisory area includes the valleys of central and eastern Douglas County. This applies to Roseburg, Camas Valley, Elkton, Drain, Sutherlin, Glendale, Riddle, Canyonville, Tiller and Toketee Falls.

Forecasters said hot temperatures may cause heat related illnesses.

Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun. and check up on relatives and neighbors
