Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 7:30 p.m. the 30-year-old was arrested after he allegedly went to the residence of a family member he was restrained from contacting in the 400 block of Northeast Sterling Drive. The man admitted to going to that location and was detained without issue. He was held without bail. The man was released on Friday morning.
