Roseburg Police jailed a man twice in three hours on Wednesday.
An RPD report said at 4:25 p.m. the 49-year-old was contacted near the corner of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Cass Avenue after he allegedly went to a store in the 500 block of Northeast Winchester Street, after being advised by an officer previously of trespass. He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and detained without incident.
After getting out of jail, the man was again spotted near the intersection of Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Cass Avenue. Officers were looking for him for an unrelated incident. The man is excluded from being in the downtown area until November 18th. He was charged with another count of second-degree criminal trespass. The man was transported to corrections. Bail was set at $2,500.
