A medical office in Roseburg was damaged in a fire late Tuesday night.

Fire Chief Tyler Christopherson of the Roseburg Fire Department said just after 11:30 p.m. firefighters responded to Spectrum Prosthetics in the 2500 block of Northwest Medical Park Drive, after a caller said the structure was on fire. Christopherson said crews arrived on the scene to find fire on the exterior of the building. The fire was quickly extinguished with no fire extension inside the building.

Christopherson said while crews were on the scene, a dumpster fire was also reported in the nearby area. Central Douglas Fire & Rescue responded to that incident. It is unknown if both incidents are related.

Christopherson said the fire on Medical Park Drive is currently under investigation. The building received approximately $50,000 in damage to the exterior siding, windows and doors.
