Sutherlin Police Jail Man following an alleged assault incident on Sunday night.

An SPD report said at approximately 9:15 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of Southeast Eighth Street in Oakland for a physical disturbance they heard while at another call.

It was determined that 38-year-old Tyler Evans had caused physical injuries to a victim while she was trying to call law enforcement. He was charged with fourth-degree assault, interfering with making a police report and harassment. Evans was detained without bail.
