A Roseburg man was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck on Friday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:00 p.m. the 68-year-old was driving his vehicle near the intersection of Lancaster Street and Rolling Hills Road in the Green District. The man swerved the vehicle to miss a cat and drove off the roadway, striking a parked pickup. The driver had suspected minor injuries but was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center prior to the deputy’s arrival. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
