The Umpqua Valley is expected to see a brief period of cooler, somewhat wet weather before dry conditions return and warming resumes.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Roseburg will have near normal conditions Friday, ahead of some rain or showers overnight and into Saturday, when temperatures nearly 10 degrees below normal are likely. Only a slight amount of measurable rain is expected.
Sunday will be dry, warming back to the low 80s. Temperatures are forecast to warm up to near normal levels starting on Tuesday, possibly getting to above normal highs later in the week.
