A passenger was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck on Wednesday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 12:30 p.m. a driver was turning left from Northeast Stewart Parkway onto Northeast Airport Road, while a second driver was headed westbound on Stewart Parkway. Both vehicles had a green light, however the first driver had a traffic sign by her light that indicated a left turn must yield to oncoming traffic.

Both vehicles sustained front-end damage. The first vehicle had an elderly passenger who was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for a complaint of arm pain. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The driver who caused the crash was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
