One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 12:00 p.m. the accident took place in the 1800 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. A driver was stopped, waiting to exit a parking lot and turn left onto Diamond Lake Boulevard. A vehicle in the right lane, traveling eastbound on Diamond Lake Boulevard, stopped to wave in the first driver.

The first driver attempted to turn left, but did not see a second vehicle, which was in the left lane. The two vehicles collided. Both sustained front-end damages. The second driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for a complaint of knee, neck and back pain.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to yield before entering a highway.
