SUTHERLIN POLICE JAILED A WOMAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Sutherlin Police jailed a woman following an alleged disorderly conduct incident Friday night.

An SPD report said shortly after 6:30 p.m. an officer observed the 47-year-old taking her clothes off and having what appeared to be a mental episode at Triangle Park in the 1300 block of West Central Avenue. The officer tried to detain the woman, but she allegedly started to physically fight with the officer and got away.

The woman was taken to the ground after a brief struggle and placed into custody. She was charged with resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, attempting to commit a Class A felony, harassment and offensive littering.

She was detained on $20,000 bail and was released on Monday.
