Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation early Friday.

An RPD report said at 1:20 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old in the 600 block of Northeast Winchester Street during a traffic stop. They learned that the man’s parole officer wanted him detained for not checking in as reported. He was taken into custody without issue. The man was cited for driving while suspended-violation, and failure of a previous violate to file. He was detained without bail.
