Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 p.m. the 40-year-old was seen standing in front of a closed business where an officer was conducting a security check due to recent vandalism. This was in the 1900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard.

The man was checked for warrants and dispatch confirmed the man had an active warrant out of RPD. He was taken into custody without incident. The man was detained on $2,500 bail and was released Wednesday night.
