ROSEBURG POLICE CHARGE WOMAN WITH MENACING

Roseburg Police charged a woman with menacing on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. officers responded after a caller said there was a disturbance in the 1700 block of Southeast Mill Street. Officers learned that there had been a verbal altercation where a 73-year-old had attempted to place a victim in fear of imminent serious physical injury.

Witness statements corroborated that the suspect had approached the victim with a balled fist and proceeded to act like she was going to hit her. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $6,250.
