Roseburg Police arrested a woman during a trespassing incident on Monday morning.
According to an RPD report, officers contacted 51-year-old Heather Langworthy at 8:51 a.m. near the 1300 block of Northwest Ellan Street for trespassing. Police say Langworthy ignored commands to stay back and was violent and aggressive towards officers after being contacted. Langworthy reportedly grabbed an officer by the wrist before officers attempted to detain her. As officers attempted to detain her, Langworthy allegedly punched an officer multiple times before being taken to the ground and being placed in handcuffs.
Langworthy was charged with second degree trespass, second degree disorderly conduct and attempted assault on a public safety officer. She was lodged at Douglas County Corrections on $10,000 bail.
