Roseburg Police jailed a man for stealing food from a grocery store on Thursday.

An RPD report said just after 11:00 a.m. officers contacted the 68-year-old after he allegedly stole a package of 61 Shrimp Rings and a package of Smashed Burgers from the business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers observed security footage of the man stealing the items and he was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $1,250.
