The Oregon State University Extension Service has a Compost Tea 101 class, coming soon.
Participants will learn about brewing their own tea for the garden. This class is designed to teach learners about the art and science of making compost tea. Information about tea nutrition, liquid application of fertilizer and how to extend the use of compost will be shared. The class will cover the basics of brewing techniques, equipment and application methods.
Those who take the class should be ready to get their hands dirty and should leave with the knowledge of how to fertilize their garden in multiple ways.
The class will be held on August 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12;00 p.m. at the Glide Disposal Site. Registration in advance is required. Go to: https://beav.es/NRn
