A Yoncalla man was jailed for an alleged trespassing incident on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:45 a.m. a deputy stopped the 22-year-old as he was walking on the railroad tracks near the intersection of Dodd Lane and Eagle Valley Road in the Yoncalla area. The man reportedly became hostile and was taken into custody.

He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and was detained without bail. The man was released on Friday.
