A Search and Rescue team was coordinated by deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday afternoon but was ultimately not needed.

A DCSO report said at 3:30 p.m. a caller to 911 dispatchers indicated that a man had fallen from a cliff while at Toketee Falls on Toketee Rigdon Road, off Highway 138E. Once on the scene, a deputy learned that the 43-year-old from California had been able to climb back up the cliff and wasn’t needing assistance. Minor medical attention was given to him by ambulance personnel.
