Roseburg Police cited a man Wednesday for failure to perform the duties of a driver.

An RPD report said at 5:30 p.m. the 97-year-old from Canyonville, was contacted in the 700 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. He was a suspect in a hit and run accident that took place on Tuesday. The man reportedly admitted to the incident.

He was cited and released on the scene.
