A H.O.P.E. Drug Court participant has partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness to create the first 5K walk/run called, “Together We Heal”, emphasizing the importance of reducing the stigma around mental illness.

It will take place on Saturday in Roseburg’s Stewart Park. Information tables will open into the pavilion starting at 9:00 a.m. A ribbon cutting will be held at 10:00 a.m. before the walk and run gets started. Free event t-shirts are available while supplies last. There will be two water stations along the route, including bowls for pets. Friendly leashed dogs are welcome to join in the event. Registration is free for all participants.
