Roseburg Police charged a man with a stalking order violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 8:50 p.m. officer received information that the 37-year-old sent a letter to his ex-wife’s residence while incarcerated at the Douglas County Jail. The report said this was a direct violation of his Stalking Protective Order.

The man remains in custody and is detained without bail.
