A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for warrants and cited for meth possession on Sunday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:00 p.m. the 45-year-old was contacted while he was walking on Ardis Street in front of the Meadowlark Apartments. The deputy knew the man had a statewide felony warrant for his arrest. Once the warrants were confirmed, he was taken into custody.
The man admitted to having a meth pipe in his pocket and said that he had recently used the drug. He was cited for unlawful possession of meth and jailed for the warrants. Bail was set at $10,000.
