The closure is limited to the South Umpqua Falls Campground only. Visitors are encouraged to explore alternative camping options on the Tiller Ranger District, including these campgrounds:

*Dumont

*Devils Flat

*Threehorn

*Falcon

In addition to these campgrounds, dispersed camping is also allowed throughout much of the Umpqua National Forest.

The South Umpqua Falls Picnic and Day Use Areas remain open and accessible to the public during this time, so visitors can continue to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.
