Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported disorderly conduct on Saturday night.

An RPD report said at 10:40 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. During the contact, a 34-year-old was allegedly heavily intoxicated and became increasingly aggressive. Officers attempted to separate him from the other parties and offered to give a courtesy ride to others at the scene to separate everyone.

The man reportedly became irate and charged towards officers, who placed him into handcuffs, after a brief struggle. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
