Roseburg Police jailed a man following a DUII incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 11:45 a.m. officers responded to the area of Northwest Kline Street and Northwest Hughwood Avenue after multiple individuals called 911 and said the 36-year-old was driving erratically through the neighborhood, driving in circles through the intersection while screaming out of his vehicle’s window for witnesses to call 911, while flipping them off.

Individuals also reported the man was driving his vehicle on the sidewalk. Officers contacted the man, who admitted to driving in the manner that had been reported. During their contact, officers observed signs of impairment. The man consented to standard field sobriety tests, which he reportedly performed poorly. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections without incident. During an inventory of his vehicle, officers allegedly found a small amount of methamphetamine inside.

The driver was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $12,500.
