ROSEBURG POLICE CITE WOMAN FOR JUNE THEFT CASE

Roseburg Police cited a woman Wednesday, for a June theft case.

An RPD report said on June 16th a victim dropped her phone in the parking lot of a store in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Surveillance showed that the 37-year-old picked up the phone and walked toward a nearby store where the phone was turned into an ATM a short time later by a second person.

That man was already arrested in this case a few days prior. Officers were able to contact the woman on Wednesday in the 2100 block of Northwest of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard. She admitted to taking the phone.

Due to medical issues, she was cited and released for first-degree theft, because the value of the phone was over $1,000.
