Roseburg Police jailed a woman for theft from a liquor outlet on Monday.

An RPD report said at 5:40 p.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old after she allegedly stole a bottle of vodka from the business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The woman admitted to committing the theft even after an employee asked her to give it back. She was taken into custody without incident.

The woman was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
