Roseburg Police cited a woman for drinking in public early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 6:00 a.m. an officer observed the 34-year-old sitting next to an open beer near the intersection of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Highland Street. When she saw the officer, the woman immediately poured the half-full can out. She was issued a citation and then was released.
