Roseburg Police cited a man following a hit and run investigation on Monday.

An RPD report said the 70-year-old was a suspect in an incident the allegedly occurred in the parking lot of a store in the 4100 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The man was reportedly seen on security footage driving his pickup into another vehicle with significant force and then leaving the scene.

He was contacted at 12:30 p.m. at his residence in the 300 block of Ashwood Court in Sutherlin and admitted to the crime. He was cited for failure to perform the duties of a driver in an accident involving property damage and then was released.
