Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and for deposit of trash within 100 yards of waters on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 8:30 a.m. officers contacted the man at his encampment in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. His camp violated several portions of the camping ordinance and had copious amounts of refuse surrounding it. Officers learned the man had an active warrant for his arrest. He was detained without incident and transported to corrections The man was held on $5,000 bail.
