The Umpqua National Forest has announced some temporary adjustments this week to the schedule of the North Umpqua Ranger Station.
A UNF release said the station, which is typically open on Wednesdays, will be closed this Wednesday. To ensure continued access to the public, the office will instead be open on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to accommodate any public service needs. All regular services will be available during the special Tuesday opening.
Additionally, all ranger stations on the Umpqua National Forest will be closed this Thursday. The headquarters in Roseburg, along with the North Umpqua and Tiller Ranger stations will be open on Friday.
The release said the one-time adjustment is intended to ensure uninterrupted services ahead of the weekend. For more information, call the North Umpqua Ranger Station at 496-3532.
