A Yoncalla woman was jailed for an alleged assault and harassment incident on Tuesday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 5:50 p.m. the victim drove to the suspect’s home in the 300 block of Pinto Drive to drive her to get groceries. Upon his arrival, the woman was allegedly very intoxicated and argumentative. When the victim chose to leave, the suspect reportedly chased him and tried to block him from leaving.
At one point, the suspect allegedly kicked the victim in the mouth, causing him to bleed. The suspect then reportedly took the victim to the ground by his hair, removing some. The victim was eventually able to leave and wait for law enforcement.
The suspect reportedly did not have a very good story regarding what had occurred. She was arrested and transported to corrections. The woman was detained without bail.
