Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged harassment incident on Friday morning.
An RPD report said shortly after 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a store in the 1500 block of West Harvard Avenue after a woman allegedly threw hot coffee on the cashier. 63-year-old Kimberly Matic was reportedly seen on video throwing the coffee and was identified by multiple witnesses. The coffee also damaged the scanner, belonging to the store.
Officers contacted Matic at her residence, where she admitted to throwing the coffee. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections. While there, officers allegedly discovered 8.15 grams of fentanyl on Matic’s person. She was charged with harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, and unlawful possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Matic was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
