Roseburg Police jailed a man early Tuesday for an alleged prior harassment incident.
An RPD report said at 2:15 a.m. officers contacted two people in a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Southeast Hoover Avenue and Southeast Fullerton Street. The officer was aware of a previous care in which the 41-year-old man had allegedly pushed a car door into the victim, damaged her vehicle and broke her phone during an altercation.
After speaking with both people in the vehicle, the officer arrested the man for the previous incident and transported him to corrections. The man was charged with harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was detained on $5,000 bail.
