ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ALLEGED HARSASMENT/THEFT INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged harassment and theft incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said shortly after 5:00 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance between two people in the 1400 block of Northwest Veterans Way. An investigation determined that during the incident, 42-year-old Gina Clay-Poor jerked the glasses off the victim’s face and broke them in half before allegedly stealing the victim’s cell phone. The victim’s phone was later recovered from a nearby trash can.

Clay-Poor was charged with second-degree counts of theft and criminal trespass and for harassment. She was detained on $15,000 bail.
