Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and a weapon charge on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 10:25 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. It was discovered that the man had a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody, and the warrant was confirmed. During the arrest, officers reportedly discovered an approximately 15-inch knife concealed in the man’s waistband. He was transported to corrections for the warrant and for carrying a concealed weapon. Bail was set at $5,000.
