Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 42-year-old in the front yard of a residence in the 300 block of Southeast Pine Street and learned that his parole officer wanted him detained. The man was allegedly aggressive towards officers and refused to comply with commands. A taser was eventually deployed and the man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail.
