Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and probation violations after an incident in the 1700 block of Northwest Eden Street.

An RPD report said just after 7:30 p.m. officers responded to the residence after a caller said the man was breaking items there. Officers located the 41-year-old as he was riding away on a bicycle. The suspect briefly attempted to flee, but was taken into custody at taser point before being transported to corrections.

The man was charged with two probation violations and for the warrant. Bail was set at $5,000.
