Roseburg Police jailed a man for a drug charge and for probation violation early Tuesday.
An RPD report said at 12:15 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old regarding a noise disturbance in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The suspect allegedly had a used methamphetamine pipe on his lap. Officers learned that the man was on felony probation and contacted his probation officer, who requested that he be detained.
Officers search the man and reportedly found a plastic bag containing meth in his pocket. The man was taken to corrections and charged with unlawful possession of meth and for the violation. He was detained without bail.
