A Canyonville man was jailed for a parole violation early Wednesday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 12:25 a.m. a deputy contacted the 34-year-old at a park in Canyonville, due to being in the park after hours. The man is on post-prison supervision with a stipulation of having no contact with the woman he was found with. He was taken into custody.

Just after 6:00 p.m. records notified a deputy that the man in custody had a failure to appear warrant that needed to be served. The warrant was confirmed, and that charge was added. The man is detained on $5,000 bail.
