ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR WARRANT, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and for unlawful possession of methamphetamine on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:15 p.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old at the intersection of Southeast Mosher Street and Southeast Sheridan Street and found he had the warrant for his arrest. During a search of his belongings at corrections, deputies allegedly located a syringe which contained a crystal substance. The substance field tested positive for meth.

The man was jailed on $12,500 bail.
