ROSEBURG MAN JAILED FOLLOWING SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH

A Roseburg man was jailed following a single-vehicle crash on Monday night.

An Oregon State Police report said at 10:40 p.m. a trooper responded to the wreck in the 1800 block of Northeast Steel Avenue in Roseburg. A homeowner advised that a pickup had high-centered on his front lawn and that the driver was intoxicated. The trooper observed indicators of impairment. Standard field sobriety tests and additional indicators were observed. The driver, a 23-year-old, was placed into custody and transported to corrections.

The man was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. He was detained without bail and was released early Tuesday morning.
