Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged store theft and trespass incident on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:30 p.m. officers contacted the 50-year-old after an employee of the business in the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard said the suspect had stolen a beer after being previously trespassed. The man admitted to the theft and was taken into custody.

The man was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft. He was detained without bail.
