Roseburg Police jailed a man following a fight at an intersection on Thursday.
An RPD report said at 1:30 p.m. officers contacted 30-year-old Kashi Arbeeny after numerous callers said the suspect had gotten into a fight with an unidentified motorcyclist at the corner of West Harvard Avenue and West Madrone Street.
Arbeeny reportedly fought with officers when told that he was under arrest. The man grabbed an officer’s hand and allegedly tried to bite him but was taken into custody a short time later.
Arbeeny was transported to corrections where deputies reportedly found a small amount of methamphetamine. He was charged with resisting arrest, harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. Arbeeny was detained without bail.
