The Elkton Community Education Center will have a Mother’s Day Weekend Extravaganza, May 9th through May 11th.

An ECEC release said the three-day celebration will be filled with activities and opportunities for the whole family.

Events will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4;00 p.m. on Sunday. Highlights of the weekend will include:

*Plant sale and Hanging Baskets

*Bake sale

*Electronic recycling drop-off

*The gift shop will be open

*An art class with an RSVP required

*Café open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

*Evergreen Health will be at ECEC on Friday, by appointment only

*Rummage sale -a ECEC fundraiser with community vendors

ECEC Co–Executive Director Deb Gritton said, “We’re excited to offer a diverse range of activities that celebrate mothers and bring our community together”. Gritton said, “This weekend is a wonderful opportunity to find beautiful plants, unique gifts, support local artisans and enjoy a fun-filled day with family and friends”.
