Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported disturbance on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. officers contacted 49-year-old Ryan Ferguson in the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street after he was called in for fighting with another man.

Officers couldn’t locate the second person but learned that Ferguson had four warrants for his arrest. Ferguson allegedly told officers he wasn’t going anywhere without a fight and resisted arrest. While officers were trying to detain the suspect, he reportedly kicked an officer.

Ferguson was eventually taken into custody and transported to corrections. He was charged with harassment, resisting arrest and for the warrants. Bail was set at $47,500.
