Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping at the duck pond on Monday.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 66-year-old in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard regarding his tent being set up in a prohibited area. His camp was also in violation of the time portion of the city’s camping ordinance.

The man did not have any prior convictions. He was released after the citation was issued.
